As for this radio ad, I was beyond angry and spent 45 minutes on the phone with McDonalds and wrote them many emails. I am happy they pulled the ad but still less than thrilled with McDonalds. Since this issue came to light, many stories are popping up now regarding McDonalds and dogs…in one case, a child and her service dog were kicked out of a McDonalds in Illinois.
I would like to see McDonalds do something positive relating to dogs– maybe they should feature a positive Pit Bull message in their next commercial or team up with a rescue group to fundraise…
Thanks so much! I agree with you, they should so something positve for the breed. However they must be uneducated about pit bulls if they are going to say that its “risky” to pet one… So they should for sure team up with a rescue and get educated! And thanks for checking out my blog!
